Vixande Palace

Throughout the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, this house was the headquarters of muleteer traffic.

Known by the nickname of Casa de Lastra, this palace was, throughout the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, the headquarters of muleteer traffic. With a rectangular floor plan and a massive, compact appearance, the house stands out for the immense number of windows that adorn its walls, to the point that, according to legend, it even had one more than the Royal Palace itself, which forced the King to demand that its inhabitants remove some of them, until they were inferior to the royal dwelling.
