At the Mesón-Museum, the experience goes beyond gastronomy. While enjoying an exhibition of traditional tools linked to the woodworking trades, visitors can taste authentic homemade food made with natural and quality products. All this accompanied by a bottle of Asturian cider, cooled in the traditional way in the crystal clear waters of the virgin river that surrounds the area.
The culinary proposal is based on the purity of the ingredients and the careful preparation of each dish. Its specialities include churrasco (steak), fabada asturiana (bean stew), lacón con pimientos (pork shoulder with peppers) and tortillas, always served in generous portions and with a traditional flavour.
In addition to the cider, they also offer an excellent house wine: a Mencía del Bierzo, perfect to complete the experience.
