Penarronda Beach

Penarronda beach in Castropol has been a Natural Monument since 2002.

Since 2002, Penarronda beach in Castropol, which it shares with the neighbouring council of Tapia de Casariego, has been a Natural Monument. It is a 600-metre long sandy area nestled between the cliffs of A Robaleira and Punta del Corno, and is home to the mouth of the River Penarronda, which divides it in two.
