Cristo de Paramios recreational area
It offers a beautiful panoramic view of the mountain landscape, overlooking villages such as Restrepo and Vixande.
Located in Monticelo, parish of Paramios, about 12 km from Vegadeo, following the road that connects this town with the upper and southern part of our council, on the way to Los Oscos, we find this small and unique area.
In addition, in the same area we will find the element that gives it its name. The cruceiro or cross of Paramios, a monumental stone crucifix, which was used by walkers and pilgrims to stop and pray. Its location, next to the road, relates it to the same function as the Galician "cruceiros".
