At fabEO, a family farm located in Abres, we open the doors to a world where land, work and flavour go hand in hand. Here, one of the most emblematic products of Asturias is cultivated with care: the Asturian Faba Bean with PGI and protected by the guarantee brand "Alimentos del Paraíso Natural", a real treasure of our gastronomy.

From the very first moment, you will feel part of the activity. We start with a talk about who they are and their history, and they will explain the value of the Protected Geographical Indication, a guarantee of quality and authenticity. Then it's time to set foot on solid ground: a walk through the green fields where the beans grow, learning about sustainable farming techniques that care for the soil and respect the rhythm of nature.

Depending on the time of year, you can take part in the different stages of cultivation: sowing, care and harvesting, among others. Harvest the pods directly from the plants, touch the fruit of the effort and understand what is behind each spoonful of fabada. They will explain how the best beans are selected, a meticulous process that ensures the quality and flavour that represents us so well.

And to top it all off, a visit to the farm shop, where you can take away faba beans, buy them and other home-grown seasonal products, cultivated with the same affection with which you have been welcomed, with the possibility of tasting their products.

More than an activity, this is a living experience that connects you with the land and what it gives us, with our roots and with the agricultural soul of this land of the Eo. Because to understand our way of life as farmers is also to get to know a little more of the natural paradise that is Asturias.
